Green up your Curb Appeal!

Beautiful flowers and ornamental plants are a great way to spruce up your landscaping, however, even yardscapes need a solid foundation. Below are a few suggestions of GREAT plants that will anchor your outdoor design:
1. Boxwood - These hardy shrubs serve as a great border along your home or sidewalk. They are dense and can be shaped to suit your needs or desired look. If you're looking for a solid backdrop for other decorative plants or flowers, this could be your solution!
2. Azalea - This flowering shrub comes in a variety of colors and provides a bright pop of color along with solidifying the overall look of your outdoor design. These plants are fairly hardy and some of them bloom THREE times a year!
3. Spirea - Looking for an easy grower? This may be the one for you...they grow fast and have very few issues with pests or disease. An added bonus is the flowers bloom for quite some time!
4. Fescue - Need a little something for beneath your taller plants and flowers? This low-growing grass helps create a lush green layer to keep things from looking bare. It is shade-tolerant and grows in whispy clumps filling up empty space.
5. Hosta - Another lush green anchor plant that can add texture to your yard design! This plant is also shade-tolerant and has a plethora of varieties to suit just about any landscape!
Curb appeal is a chance to make a first impression of our property and it always helps to have options and ideas to help us make it SHINE! Some of these are flowery and some only green, but hopefully we've added some value in helping you design your outdoor space!
