This is the PERFECT time of year to finesse your home with some eye-catching landscape! Below are a few DO'S and DONT"S to make sure your home stands out in the neighborhood:

1. DO, Get Back to Basics - The path to your home should be clear and visible from the road. A fresh power-washed sidewalk with clean edging and clearly marked house numbers lets people know your home is inviting and WELCOMING!

2. DON'T, Forget the Front - A lot of people enjoy the outdoor space in the backyard as it tends to be a better place for entertaining, and it usually has more space. However, the front is your chance to make a GOOD first impression! This is your chance to welcome people...even if they don't come into your home, you can still wow them with your own sense of style.

3. DO, Avoid the Chaos - Although it can be fun to grab one of everything at the nursery, TOO much can blur the design and create some visual chaos! It is better to create groupings and colors that help draw the eye through the space and give it a true picture.

4. DON'T, Lose your Personality - As long as you aren't bound by an HOA, your front yard is a great chance to add some of YOU! Whether it is an artistic piece, custom shaped hedges or a specific theme or vibe that brings you joy...don't hesitate to show your personality!

With comfortable temps and seasonal changes, it is time to "up" your landscape game so that all the neighbors want to come visit YOU!
